Challenge 2 : How can schools and learning
environments for children and youth go global today?

We have start the class with the programme for the evening:
  • INTRODUCTION
          -  We had talk about ourselfs and about our proffesional interestings. 
  • GLOBALIZATION AND INTERNATIONALIZATION
          - First, we had to write about these terms, without looking the definicion.
          - Then we talked about these concepts.
          - In our group we wrote:
    • Globatization --> Politics, economics, Society
    • Internacionalization --> Internacional cityzenship
          - Finally we showed to the rest of the class our words, and we talked about our answers.
  • WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THE CHILDREN/PUPILS/STUDENTS TO LEARN?
          - The most important is ASK ASK ASK. If you ask you will get answers!!
          - The pupils are our future, and we can teach the pupils! They have to open their minds, they must have curiosity, interest about different knowledges.
  • TEACHING INTERNATIONALISATION IN INSTITUTIONS OF TODAY
          - The rule of teachers and socil educator in schools is very important. We can convert our pupils in the global citizens of tomorrow. We have to teach to tolerate, the different cultures and a global vision of the world, because we live all together.
          - Since some years we have new global projects, and we must know how to use them.
          - The most important factor is internet as a global way of learning today.
  • WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW AS A COMING TEACHER/SOCIAL EDUCATOR?
         - It's important because it depends on ourselves to improve the open-minded of the children, which are going to be the adults of tomorrow. We must know what we have to teach and how. We can use a lot of resources to do it, and we can make courses to improve our knowledge about teaching globalization, using the technologies and so on.
  • WHERE CAN THE TEACHER/SOCIAL EDUCATOR GET HELP?
         - We can get help in: 
    • Training courses
    • Plannings of the internationalisation at the institutions
    • Projects with schools from abroad
    • Small projects
    • Conferences 
    • Different portals like e-Twinning

      • I had a personal experience in a school where I made teaching practices in which have the commenius with the British Council. They made video-conferences and many subjects in english language, so they participate with schools abroad
