1. A CLASSROOM POSTER FOR THE CHILDREN ON HOW TO APPRECIATE DIVERSITY
I think this poster is perfect because if the children watch in it children instead of adults the poster is going to be more attractive for them. They can appreciate also the differences between this children and the Earth to represent that we are all living in the same place, the Earth, our world.
2. LIST OF YOUR PERSONAL CHOICES OF 3-7 CONCEPTS
DIVERSITY --> The concept of diversity encompasses acceptance and respect. It means understanding that each individual is unique, and recognizing our individual differences. These can be along the dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, political beliefs, or other ideologies. It is the exploration of these differences in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. It is about understanding each other and moving beyond simple tolerance to embracing and celebrating the rich dimensions of diversity contained within each individual.
ATTITUDE --> Someone’s opinions or feelings about something, especially as shown by their behaviour. It can be for example: aggressive, changing, favourable, hostile, negative,positive, relaxed, uncompromising.
INQUIRY --> Is any process that has the aun of augmenting knowledge, solving a problem or resolving doubts. It`s important to create interest in the pupils so they want to inquiry.
CREATIVITY --> Is the ability to improve, to imagine, to open your mind. I think is very important to stimulate this creativity to improve our knowledge.
3. A BRIEF PERSONAL REFLECTION ON THE CHALLENGE:
I think that this challenge has help me a lot to open my mind, i knew the definition of diversity but i was no conscient about the huge number of differences between the people, the cultures, the way of life,... I was conscient of the diversity of course, I think we are in a globalizated world now, because we have in all the cities people from all over the world and we are mixed living toghether, but maybe there are more diversity between people of the same city than between people from different continents, so I have think a lot and enjoy opening my mind with this challenge.
